What we collect
Information you give us. When you submit the "Book a call" form, you provide your name, work email, and (optionally) your function. That submission goes directly into HubSpot, our customer relationship platform, where it is used to respond to your request.
Information collected automatically. This site uses Google Tag Manager to load analytics and marketing tags, which may set cookies and collect usage data: pages visited, time on page, referring site, approximate location derived from IP address, browser and device type. Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs (IP address, request path, timestamp) for security and operations.
How we use it
To respond to your inquiry and have the conversation you asked for; to understand which pages and essays are useful so we can improve them; to measure where visitors come from; and to operate and secure the site. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Who processes it
Service providers acting on our instructions: HubSpot (forms, CRM, email), Google (Tag Manager, analytics), our hosting provider (serving the site, server logs), and Substack if you subscribe to our essays there (Substack's own privacy policy governs that relationship). Each receives only what it needs to perform its function.
Cookies and your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site works without them. Analytics cookies are used for measurement, not identification. If you are in a jurisdiction that requires consent for non-essential cookies, the consent controls presented on the site govern what loads. To opt out of communications from us, use the unsubscribe link in any email or contact us directly.
Retention
Form submissions are retained in HubSpot for as long as we have an active relationship or a legitimate business need, after which they are deleted. Analytics data is retained per the configured retention window in the analytics platform. Server logs rotate on our hosting provider's standard schedule.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, contact us at the address below; we will respond within the timeframe your jurisdiction requires. We honor verifiable requests regardless of jurisdiction, that is the discipline, not a legal minimum.
Children
This site is for business audiences and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the effective date above changes with it, and material changes will be noted on this page. We will not quietly weaken it.
